Description: This excellent model is a replica of the first Baltimore & Ohio streamlined passenger diesel manufactured by Electro-Motive Division of General Motors for the road's best and fastest trains, including the Capitol Limited, the National Limited, the Diplomat, and many others. The model features the finest in DCC technology, including locomotive sounds, light and control functions. The sound system is Broadway's Paragon "Rolling Thunder". This model has never been run except for a short test session, so the box, which is elaborately designed to protect the delicate details, has been opened. The loco and packaging are in mint condition. (The DCC "long" address was set to "8151".). The Broadway Limited Imports catalog number is 5501. Features include an alternate open-door pilot with coupler (included in a poly-bag), Operator's Manual, exploded parts diagram, and a bonus clipping from the September, 2022 "Railroad Model Craftsman" magazine issue which reviews the Broadway Limited's Santa Fe version of the EMD's first passenger locomotive (identical mechanism and features).
