The cross is enclosed by a laurel wreath entwined with seven scrolls on each side, all inscribed with battle honours. Battle honours are also inscribed on each arm of the cross. Above the top of the cross is a tablet inscribed "Waterloo", surmounted by a king's crown. Below the bottom of the cross is a tablet inscribed "Peninsula". Loop fittings intact. 5.1 X 7.1 cm.
