Description: Breyer Connoisseur horse MASQUERADE Model 90114. Introduced and made available to purchase from Breyer by raffle in the Sept/Oct 2001 issue of JAH magazine. This is the 5th model of the Connoisseur series. Only 350 were produced. This is number 284. The issue number was handwritten on the bottom of one hoof by Breyer and still remains. One of the few Breyer horses made in the USA at that time. Most of production had been moved to China at this point. Linear mark Breyer Reeves on the inside of the leg. Made on the Missouri Fox Trotter mold #486 sculpted by Kathleen Moody. The hidden image design painted in pearlized paint was also designed by her. There are 3 stylized horses on each side and a smaller one at the top of the blaze. Gold and silver painted ribbons, light touches of pearlized paint on the tips of the ears and tail add to the overall look. Previously owned and displayed but in lovely, well cared for condition. Minor paint wear on edges of hooves. Issue number is on the bottom of one hoof. Originally came with COA and Velvet bag but these are not included. Please see all supplied photos for condition.
