Description: "Breath Made Visible: The Pipe as Spirit, Object, & Art" is a 31 page (plus another 13 or so pages), 8.5"x11" softcover written and published in 1984 by John Redtail Freesoul and Riverwoman Freesoul (Santa Fe, NM). It's "a preview of the book in preparation for publication." I can't find any evidence that the book was published in another form than this, though it may have appeared with a different title. The book examines "the historical development and uses of the Plains Ceremonial Pipe; the revival of the Pipe as a tool of self realization and unity; and pipe sculpture as an art form, presenting the traditional and contemporary designs of John Redtail Freesoul and Riverwoman Freesoul." There are many black-and-white illustrations. The book is in very good condition, with sticker residue at the top of the plastic sheet protecting the front cover, an old price on the front cover. The interior is otherwise unmarked, the binding sound. International buyers – please note: Import duties, taxes, and charges aren't included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be, prior to bidding or buying.
