Description: This listing is for 15 Brazilian Starfish pepper seeds. These seeds were collected from Brazilian Starfish peppers that were grown to full maturity in my garden during the summer of 2022. The seeds were then dried, packaged, and ready to send to you. Brazilian Starfish peppers thrive in warm to hot weather (65-85 degrees F) during the daytime hours but can be grown indoors with adequate light. Like all peppers, Brazilian Starfish peppers do well in an area with good morning sun and in soil with a pH level around 5 to 6 (slightly acidic). The heat level of Brazilian Starfish peppers is very similar to the serrano pepper. Their Scoville Heat Units (SHU) is between 15,000 and 20,000 SHU. When growing hot peppers, it is recommended that you use a heating mat to increase germination rates. Also, wear gloves whenever handling the seeds or fruit can prevent irritation to your skin.
