The tape contained recordings of Kime's arrangements in which trumpets, fluegelhorn and trombones were used in conjunction with voices and a woodwind. Arranger Jack Andrews and Command's musical director Bobby Byrne began to explote the possibilities that Kime's idea opened up and Eventually settled on an intrumentation that bristled with brass,, and featuring such soloists as Doc Severenson, Warren Kime and Bob Alexander as soloists.
