Some Audi/VWs require this retaining screw for the front rotors only, while other models require the same screw for the rear rotors as well. This pack of four is enough to cover four brake rotors, if your vehicle requires one screw per rotor. (If your vehicle only requires screws for the front, you will have two extra to spare.) And, if your late-model VW/Audi requires two screws per rotor for front and rear, you will need a total of 8 screws.
