Description: One individual's collection, consisting of neckerchiefs, patches, a set of garters, "trinkets", paperwork. Selling as a lot. Mostly from the mid to late 50's, although there are also two items from 1960, one from 1971, one from 1978 and one from 1981. All this belonged to a Dale Hocking of Troop 76, Pioneer Trails Council. He was apparently from Goshen, Indiana and Miami, Indiana. (Yes, there is a Miami, Indiana. I had to look it up. But Miami, Indiana, is a county, not a city). Neckerchiefs There are 8 neckerchiefs in total: - 1 Scoutmaster neckerchief- one 1971 Scoutmasters Camporee neckerchief from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.- 2 Wood Badge neckerchiefs; these would be the one with a log that has an axe in it, and the one with a piece of tartan on it. - 4 generic neckerchiefs, with the BSA logo on one of them. I was only able to provide individual photos of the Scoutmaster neckerchief, the Scoutmasters Camporee neckerchief and the 2 Wood Badge neckerchiefs. I was not able include individual photos of the generic neckerchiefs due to the fact that Ebay imits sellers to 12 photos. Lauderdale "Trinkets" The trinkets consist of: - 4 generic BSA "Turk" slides- 1 Webelo slide- 1 Philmont Ranch slide - 1 Arrowhead (Order of the Arrow?) slide- 1 slide with a panther? cougar? on it- 1 slide with a wolf?? on it- 1 slide with a carving of what looks like an eagle- 1 woggle- 1 round disc with a hole in the middle (no idea what this was for.....maybe a necklace??)- a bolo-style neckerchief with a metal badge with the engraving "Burst into Scouting, 1979, South Florida Council"- 1 generic BSA "On my Honor I will do my Best" coin Paperwork - 1 BSA membership card from 1957- 1 BSA membership card from 1958- 1 BSA membership card from 1959- 1 Life Scout Scoreboard from 1958- 1 Star Scout rank card from 1958- 1 First Class rank card from 1958- 1 Second Class rank card from 1956- merit badge cards for Fingerprinting, Home Repairs, Citizenship in the Community, Athletics, Stamp Collecting, First Aid, Fishing, Hiking, Forestry, Citizenship in the Home, Camping, Cooking I do not have any of the badges that came with the merit badge cards. There is also a pair of what I think are garters. This gentleman had been an Explorer Scout and as such, he would have worn those long white socks. I believe the garters would have been to hold up the socks?? I can offer combined shipping if you purchase more than one item. Also, a 5% discount on each item if you purchase more than one.
