Description: Preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin sling bag, from her 'Cashin Carry' collection of handbags and accessories, likely made in the 1960s. Made from a supple butter creme hued suede (looks similar to 'Chamois' on the vintage Cashin color charts), this fabulous tote bag features a kiss lock coin pocket in front that's lined in pink madras fabric. The main compartment is open and large, and is also lined in pink madras fabric. Lightweight and easy to wear and style! Note that images 4 and 5 show this bag with a Cashin jacket and hat not included with this sale, but shown for styling inspiration (and being sold separately). Bonnie Cashin's designs were always practical, innovative and chic, and this incredibly rare handbag is a great example of Bonnie's design aesthetic. It can be carried at the crook of the elbow, slung over the shoulder, attached to another bag - and it folds flat for stowing within an overnight bag or carry on luggage.
