Nina Scott Langley, born in 1890 was principally an animal painter and illustrator. She is perhaps best known in the canine world by her many illustrations for the standard work on dogs, Hutchinson's Book Of The Dog. She worked in collaboration with several others artists and much of her collection can be seen throughout that work. The image measures approximately 4" x 4" and has been Custom Matted in a black "Acid Free" mat, ready for your 8" x 10" frame. These are standard size mats that fit standard size frames. No custom framing is required. Like any print of this age their is some minor foxing and age toning, (visible in the scan), that does not detract from the overall print. Your artwork is shipped flat between sturdy cardboard and comes protected against moisture with a plastic sleeve. It's then carefully packaged to prevent bending or damage during transit.
