The seller purchased the cake plate and sever in the former Czechoslovakia around 1981 during a diplomatic assignment there for the United Nations. Some photographs may look repetitive, but the seller turned the plate around to provide an all-around view of the plate from both sides. The plate measures 12 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches in height, The plate weighs 2 lbs. and 14.4 oz. (close to 3 lbs.) The leg of the plate measures 4.75 inches in diameter. The server weighs 2.2 oz.; and it measures 7 inches in length and 2 3/8 inches in width at its widest part. The stamp stating ORIGINAL BOHEMIA ZWIEBELMUsTER is on the back of the leg and the stamp ORIGINAL BOHEMIA is on the back of the server.
