Inside you get an excellent 6-page article titled: "AMERICA’S OLYMPIC CHANCES AT MELBOURNE” by BOB MATHIAS. (A GREAT CHAMPION PREVIEWS THE FORTHCOMING GAMES AFTER A CLOSE LOOK AT THE WORLD’S BEST ATHLETES.) It's a great piece. This includes EIGHT (8) PHOTOS. The small photo on the title page is Mathias. The pole-vaulter is REVEREND BOB RICHARDS. This includes an OLYMPIC FORM CHART showing Mathias’ predictions on Order of Finish, the Best American, the Best Foreigner, and a short description. The photos on this spread are not labeled but I believe those pictured are RAFER JOHNSON in the DECATHLON, FORTUNE GORDIEN in the DISCUS, and (POSSIBLY!) BILL DELLINGER in the 5,000 Meters… There are also event photos of BOB MATHIAS with the JAVELIN, EMIL ZAPOTEK in the 10,000-meter run (with GORDON PIRIE), and BRAZIL’s ADHEMAR DA SILVA in the LONG JUMP… This has some vintage corner and edge wear.
