Upon pick-up, every garment has a file attached to the hanger consisting of usually the original store tags, store receipt, the designer label (which had been removed for alterations), and information sheets with the date of purchase, where worn, accessories worn and even a make-up chart. This is how I know the designers of many of the garments even though the labels are missing and the year of design.
