These maps are suitable for BMW vehicles with "CIC Professional" navigation system (widescreen professional navigation) fitted to various BMW cars usually manufactured between 2008 and 2013. This included BMW 3 series E90 series (E90, E91, E92, E93) 2008-2013 but also early 3 series F cars from 2012 to 2013 (F30, F31, F34, F35), 1 series (E81, E82, E87, E88, F20, F21) 2008-2014, 5 series (E60, E61) 2008-2010 plus later 5 series late 2009-2012 (F07, F10, F11), 6 series 2008-2013 (E63, E64, F06, F12, F13), 7 series (F01/F02/F03) 2008-2013 plus 7 series (F04) 2008-2015, X1 (E84) 2009-2015, X3 (F25) 2010-2013, X5 (E70) 2008-2013, X6 (E71) 2009-2014, Z4 (E89) 2009-2016. This also includes the "M" cars and "M" versions of the "X" series for this time period of course as they are based on the same designs - 1M, M3, M5, M6, X6M etc etc. Also "Alpina" versions of these cars. It was the top of the range professional navigation system fitted to all BMW cars between late 2008 and 2012 (and 2013/2014/2015/2016 even for some models). If unsure please check your current installed map via the idrive options (process shown in attached photos), if the map is described as "PREMIUM" these maps will be compatible, eg: "Road Map Europe PREMIUM" I have attached an example photo of compatible navigation (the numbers relate to the year of the maps and if it was the first or second release for the year so you probably have a similar year map to when your car was manufactured unless you have updated the maps previously - for example "2013-1" would be maps released towards the end of 2012 and cover the start of 2013). If you have a 2008/2009 car and your navigation system has TWO DVD slots this is not compatible, if you only have one DVD slot this will be compatible. The BMW navigation system will copy all the map data to its internal hard drive and then the maps will be run from there, you only need to install the map data once from the USB stick. You will need a map code to install these maps but this listing includes the fsc code.
