Burnett, about 9 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches in a slightly larger metal frame under Plexiglas, in very good condition as the two signatures have slightly faded. Interestingly, Gene Allen won an Oscar in art direction for his contribution to My Fair Lady and John F. Burnett was a long time film editor who started his career with The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. I acquired the certificate from the estate of Frank Morriss after personally taking it off one of the walls in his house. Blue Thunder was an action thriller directed by John Badham. The Best Editing Academy Award nomination was the only nomination the movie received. At the 1984 Oscar presentation, the movie lost out to The Right Stuff.
