This coin actually looks like an MS67, not a 65. If you know the 1901-S Morgan, you know mint state specimens of this date never look uncirculated and never look this good. I am unable to understand why the coin is not graded MS67. The coin is a late die state and has a tiny “struck thru grease” on the cheek bone area. The coin should be sent in for a re-grade. This is what we call a blue-chip quality high eye appeal coin with the right look to own it. This coin has a really smooth overall appearance.
