Description: Antique English plate by Derby, one of the most famous English porcelain manufacturers. This one has the Bloor Derby stamp used from 1820-1840 when the two were in partnership. 10" diameter, no chips or cracks. Has some very fine crazing typical for a 200 year old plate but only visible up close. The plate has raised relief which is picked out in blue and gold, both on the rim and the swirls down to the well of the plate. The main issue is the wear to the gilding. Still, it is a fascinating plate.
