Description: Blenko Limited Release Azure (Cobalt Wash) 384 Water Bottle Beautiful Azure/Cobalt wash 384 water bottle. This bottle was sold as Azure at Blenko, but Azure is typically Cobalt cased in Crystal and this is not that. This color resulted from a Crystal wash of a Cobalt furnace. When Blenko transitions furnaces to new color, they *wash* the furnace with batches of Crystal glass to get all of the first color glass out. Since this color wasn't made intentionally, it cannot be reproduced. It's a very nice light blue with a grey undertone. This isn't a standard catalog color and was not available online. It was available in limited numbers at the Visitor Center. I didn't see many bottles like these, so get one today while I still have it! There are some striations throughout the glass on this piece, and a couple small inclusions. Please see photos.
