It will ship in its original factory packaging box with all original accessories. The "Shredder" & "Cyclone" Glaives are still in BRAND NEW condition, UN-OPENED in their original, factory packaging box. Up for sale is the complete set of licensed Blade movie Glaives in their boxes and ready to ship immediately. Also included is the official leather holster for the Bloodbath (Original) Glaive. History of the Licensed Blade Movie Glaives:When the original Blade movie was released a company called Factory-X purchased the license to create reproductions of the weapons used in the movie. These weapons included the Bloodbath Glaive, Daywalker Sword and Scabbard, and the Glaive holster. T were also plans to release the Daywalker stakes and possibly even a battle-ready version of the Daywalker sword. The movie producers for Blade were so impressed with the reproduction of the Bloodbath Glaive that they asked Factory-X to design new Glaives for the movie Blade II. Thus the Shredder and Cyclone were born. All of the Blade Glaive reproductions were of very high quality and retailed around $180. The sword was so popular that over 10,000 were sold. With the success of the Blade merchandise Factory-X started acquiring licensing for other popular movies such as Gladiator, The Mummy Returns, and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Many of these pieces sold well and Factory-X started to move into creating licensed reproductions of items from the Marvel comic universe such as Thor's Hammer, Captain America's Shield, and Elektra's Sais. From what I can gather it appears that some of these items started to have quality control issues. It also looks like Factory-X perhaps over extended themselves and many customers who placed pre-orders became very upset with missed deadlines and damaged items. This led to the demise of Factory-X and all of it's assets were purchased by Palisades. Palisades has continued to use the Factory-X name to sell a number of prop replicas but they no longer produce ANY of the items that the original Factory-X did. The Blade license has now gone to United Cutlery who continues to sell the Bloodbath Glaive as well as the Daywalker Stakes and Daywalker Sword and Scabbard. Many of the Factory-X items have now become major collectors items and have gone up drastically in price. I put up for auction a Captain America Shield back in August which originally retailed for $270 and my auction ended at $710. The Factory-X Glaives in this auction have the potential of going up in value as well due to a limited run of 3,000 each.
