Description: Spode China is recognized the world over for producing a fine product with classic designs. One such design is TRADEWINDS, a pattern featuring American Clipper ships. Each different piece in a set has a different ship displayed on the front and the name on the reverse side. Most recognizable of this pattern is the blue or red colors. However for a short time in the late 20th century Spode produced the TRADEWINDS pattern in BLACK. This is the color which I have in stock. As it has been discontinued it has also become difficult to obtain. The dinner plate is standard size eg. approximately 10” in diameter.
