Typically worn as a faceguard and mounted onto the outside of a helm or hockey mask, it provides a rigid layer of protection for the face and distributes the force of the blow across a wider area and over time. This does much to reduce the actual impact force that the fighter will feel and can reduce or eliminate the damage from a dangerous attack. It also provides protection from the routine rubbing of armor upon the body even when not actively engaged in combat. In many situations the protective qualities of an armored faceplate are sufficient to be worn with little or no padding on beneath. Beyond it's superb functionality, it also makes an excellent presentation and makes for an extremely interesting appearance when worn as costume. Colors: Black ONLY. We can consider a comission in other colors, but here is a lead time. This armor exceeds all known world standards for protection. We do have a lifetime satisfaction guarantee on all of our armor, HOWEVER we do not guarantee the life of the user.
