Description: Made from recycled foil- faced packing material, I made up some of these when I couldn't find any of the repellent holographic type tape anywhere. I had used the tape in the past on my apples and grapes with mixed results, so I figured this couldn't hurt and it seemed to work out just as well as the tape, so I figured I'd put it out there for others to try. The idea is that with the strip fluttering in the wind, and the sometimes reflection of the sun off the shiny foil, it may keep them pesky birds out of your fruit, It may only work for a limited time, as those wise birds catch on, and won't be scared off for too long; These come hand cut in approximately 1" wide and 12-14" long strips with a hanger attached to each end, so no cutting or tying like the tape, just hang , and take down to move or store and reuse the following season.
