Description: I was struck by this piece with its amorphic figure with ram's shaped hair, and the stooping posture as it wanders outside in nature. Nicely balanced composition and pen technique, with a swirling but understated background. A small tulip at her feet which she seems surprised by, with the butterfly escaping vertically. I don't know which Bill Harris this was done by, it does not bear any similarity to any Bill Harris websites. It was found in the town of Lewisburg WV where there is a Carnegie Hall and many artists over the years whose art can be found in the local thrift stores. I have to say that it is probably my favorite that I've acquired, although I can't say why.
