Big Vintage Afghan Choker Necklace - Kuchi Tribal Dance Jewelry

Description: This gorgeous old Afghan choker-necklace was handcrafted for the nomadic Kuchi tribe along the Old Silk Road of Central Asia. It is vintage tribal jewelry - not a new reproduction. More measurements and useful info are listed at the end of this description. The flexible neckband was made with a series on interconnected links that were accented with multiple, colorfully-beaded large starbursts. Beaded triangles and large charms hang freely just below the neckband. A double-cascade of long bell-dangles fall below, swaying with movement. This style is typical of the Waziri Kuchi in western part of the country. There are more recent lining and ties on each side for adjusting the length.
