Description: Here is a pair of screwback dangle earrings in sterling silver and abalone shell panels. The screwback part of the hardware is made of alpaca, and is stamped as such. The earrings themselves are stamped "Taxco 925 Mexico, ABB." The stamp is imprinted across two of the panels, and some of the lettering is partially worn away. There is also a maker's mark at the bottom of each earring. They measure 2.25" long from top to bottom. The dangle portion only is 2" long and 1 1/8" wide at the widest points. Together they weigh 13.1 grams, which includes the weight of the non-sterling screwback parts and the abalone shell. There is some residue of polish in crevices on the back of one of the screwbacks. Some tarnish and surface wear throughout commensurate with age and use. Overall in very good pre-owned condition, flaws as noted.
