I bought it at the turn of the century from Howard at Greg's Comics, and it's well-preserved and intact and complete and supple and flat. Everything is still attached; All the innards are still bone-white, flat and tightly connected with no dog-ears, and the colors are still vibrant. It looks like it was probably carefully read and enjoyed, as there are the obligatory bumps and spine-stresses and a hint of general edge wear, along with light creasing. It retains an amazing amount of luster, and the eye appeal is impressive. It will include a small red sticker on the reverse of the archival backing board, with my monograph, designating this pretty example as hailing from my long-term personal golden-age collection. Crucial fare for any fan of American Pop Culture from the middle of the twentieth century. MATERIAL LIKE THIS SPOTLIGHTING ICONIC THEMES OF POP CULTURE AND LITERATURE NEVER LOSES ITS APPEAL.
