Description: This listing is for an original casino chip from the historic Beverly Hills Supper Club. The club, located in Newport/Southgate Kentucky (just south of Cincinnati), was known for operating an illegal casino from the 1930's through the 1960's. On Saturday May 28, 1977 during the memorial holiday weekend, the club caught fire in what is the 3rd deadliest nightclub fire in U.S. history killing 165 people. The club never reopened. The chip is in used condition with some wear and fading due to use, age, and storage.
