Description: Here’s a fantastic pair of very hard to find Betty Lou Nichols figurines named Anna and Chris. I am unsure of what specific nationality they represent. They each stand just over 11” tall, and Anna is signed. While Betty Lou Nichols is credited with fueling the head vase craze in the United States in the 1940s and 1950s, she also created other things, such as these figurines, which are now very hard to find. This pair is in wonderful condition, with only a few tiny slightly rough spots from the manufacturing process. If you love vintage head vases and figurines, these would be perfect for a fall display, and would be a unique addition to your collection. CONDITION: - A few slightly rough spots from the manufacturing process - A few line details in Chris’s socks and Anna’s neckline that may have missed a bit of glaze during manufacturing - Finish is nice and shiny, and colors are bright - I see no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs - Previous owner placed small protector pads on the bottoms of each figurine (see photo).
