The rear board is damaged because it appears to have been placed on a burner (i.e., please see image #3 below); this unfortunate incident also singed some of the outside page edges (please see image #4 below), and much, much less-so those pages internally. Aside from the rear board, the book is in Very Good condition with some handling and wear and with "1951" written at the top fore-edge corner of the front free endpaper. There is no former-owner's bookplate inside, no writing inside except for the above-mentioned "1951" (quite unusual for a cookbook this age), no foxing, and there are no loose pages; it will be shipped in a solid new box anywhere in the United States via USPS Media Mail for free.
