This plate has a saying that reads: Benevolence is commendable in all persons. Begin to be good in time it cannot be too soon. It does have 2 hairlines and an impressed mark of JKK. The rim has impressed and a colorfully painted floral edge. Beautiful antique plate dating to circa 1840s.
