Description: Beethoven Piano Concerto #1 CD Fleisher Szell Cleveland (from big Szell box). I got the 106 disc giant box of Szell / Cleveland Columbia recordings on Sony Classical. Some discs were duplicated, so I am trying to flog the extra compact discs here. On offer is a CD of Leon Fleisher playing the Beethoven first piano concerto with George Szell conducting the Cleveland Orchestra. The disc is pristine, having been played once only. No scratches, scuffs, or other defects of any kind. If you are reading this, you likely already understand just how elevated the level of playing is here. This recording has passed the test of time. If you are a Beethoven fan, and have not heard this, you are in for a treat. Please note well: the cardboard jacket enclosing the CD is a reproduction of the original Columbia vinyl LP cover. It looks very similar to the photo posted above, but is not identical. The text is in English, not German. And Fleisher looks left, not right. Thanks for your attention and happy listening.
