Description: Beautiful Vintage 1940s Composition Cloth Body 22" Doll I found this old doll at an auction. She has been stored away for many many years and that is the reason her cheeks are still rosy and her hair paint is still bright. She is missing some of her eyelashes on one eye and some compo loss behind her right ear but even saying all this, I feel she is still the nicest one I have seen in years.She is dressed in what may just be her original outfit. The underdress in of a stiff gauze-like fabric and her satin gown and bonnet look newer but the under ruffle on her bonnet is of the same material as her underdress. And her gown and underdress both close with safety pins. Her bootie shoes are definately original. They are made of cheesecloth which has lost its stiffness due to age.
