Beautiful Vintage 14K Yellow & White Gold Wedding Band

Description: This is a Beautiful Vintage 14K Yellow & White Gold Wedding Band. The ring weighs 6.05 grams. The ring was marked by a jeweler as size 7. However, I want to point out that the shank is almost the exact width of one quarter size. On my mandril on edge of the shank lies right on the 6 3/4 mark and the other lies on the size 7 mark so please take that into account when considering the size. The ring has a heavily textured, ribbed pattern of white gold bordered with yellow gold on the edges. Between these two areas is a channel that has been nielloed or similarly treated to produce a dark contrasting band on either side of the ring that beautifully complements and accents the yellow and white gold. As found there are a couple of small spots where there is some missing dark color. This is marked by gray arrows in the very last photo. In that photo a similar effect is seen on the upper edge but there is no such variation there; that is just a highlight from the photo flash. I would rate this as pretty minor and it is only seen on close inspection. The appearance on the inside of the ring is yellow gold. The ring is marked with "14K" inside a cartouche. This can be seen on the photo but not read, but it can be very clearly read on the actual ring. The photos are closeups. One of the photos shows the size relative to a US dime.
