I am not looking forward to packaging this 32 x 12 x 12 custom built package but this is such a gorgeous lamp. It’s got to be done because somebody wants this for their home so badly. It has the look and appearance of brass, but I’m not sure if it is brass or not it is heavy at over 5 pounds, so maybe it is. It’s very extremely ornate with clusters of grapes in approximately three locations working their way up together as well as a pineapple and it looks very, very retro and gorgeous with the light shade and the little plastic beaded tassels that appear to be Crystal. I don’t even like to sell stuff that is going to be a pain in the neck to package, but this is so gorgeous. I know that somebody is going to fall in love with it. I will not be shipping it with the lightbulb because that is very foolish and it could break and do damage to the gorgeous shade. I know shipping is going to be expensive but no matter where you get this you would be paying shipping in the box is large and heavy. You should feel bad for me being forced to make this very difficult custom box. I package extremely carefully and I have only had two items destroyed and they were both the complete fault of the Postal Service. Out of 600 packages that is not bad at all, and only one item lost in shipping and I compensated, these buyers very very well because my heart goes out in compassion for anybody that takes the effort to something so beautiful. Don’t even worry about the shipping. That is just part of owning the most beautiful items in America. We can’t help that so just splurge andown one of the most beautiful decorations in your house. If you did want to save on shipping, I could possibly save you some money by shipping the base separate from the larger part and that would potentially save you a lot of money and if I can do that, I would reimburse you for any extra shipping
