This cullet weighs exactly 6oz on its own without any packaging and is a combination of slag on top and bottom similar to cement, and the rest of the cullet is bright red swirly glass. Slag glass has bubbles and fractures, and sometimes other types of slag mixed in during the original glass making process. Slag glass made no later than the late 1940s by Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. in Ford City, PA but could also possibly be much older than that. ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDLING ROUGH GLASS!
