Description: Beautiful antique Chinese bronze, or similar, metal and carved floral cinnabar octagonal brooch. This lovely brooch is 1 1/8” long by 1 7/8” wide and weighs 14 grams. It features a beautifully hand-carved floral design in red cinnabar firmly bezel set in a sturdy bronze or similar deep rosy gold metal setting that has lovely rope and textured detail. This setting has a working pin fastener with spring ring type clasp on the back and it is stamped “China”. This brooch is in good antique condition with no real damage other than age appropriate oxidation and minor surface wear.
