Beats for Baghdad is a telling of the Iraq calamity featuring Jerry Quickley as an independent, unembedded investigator, with a hip-hop approach. The DVD incorporates original, unseen documentary footage from Iraq, music, poetry, and live concert footage from Cabaret Voltaire. Cabaret Voltaire is a monthly series of avant-garde, Dada-inspired, and politically conscious presentations. It consists of all sorts of art forms: live performance, paintings, films, and even puppetry. It's open and experimental. Beats for Baghdad is produced and directed by Christian Jon Meoli, Jerry Quickley, Clayton Rohner, and Chris Spiro.
