Description: This rare 7" vinyl single and sleeve features the iconic British Invasion band, the Beatles, along with Tony Sheridan. The record label is MGM (Black) and the release year is 1964. This super rarity sleeve type is a hard to find Red original "picture sleeve", quite rarer than the similar Green “My Bonnie” MGM Picture Sleeve. No drill hole in this record or sleeve!! Some writing in ink on one side of sleeve. But very nice! The Red sleeve is the rarity. The vinyl record alone is usually $20!! Vinyl looks EX, both sides. The primary historical hit song, "Cry For A Shadow," was composed by Harrison-Lennon, and is a great twist rocker instrumental recorded back in May 1961. John was 20. Paul was 18. George was 18. Amazing! And the flip-side was written by Sheridan-Crompton, "Why (Can't You Love Me Again)," is an original Tony Sheridan composition, a quite nice ballad. The Beatles provide a great background sound! This first pressing edition is a must-have for any Beatlemania collector or rock and roll enthusiast. Enjoy!
