Still in original bag with that Venice ocean air Wheels not included Designed by Wes Humpston, Wes is known as one of the early skaters of the Venice CA Dogtown group made famous by Stacy Peralta’s 2001 documentary film "Dogtown and Z-Boys," narrated by Sean Penn. The film stars the members of the former Zephyr Skate team and the Dogtown skaters, including Peralta, Jeff Ho, Jay Adams, Tony Alva, Shogo Kubo, and others. The story was later fictionalized in a film directed by Catherine Hardwicke, "Lords of Dogtown." Wes was founder of Dogtown Skates with Jim Muir. The legendary company folded in the late 1980s. Wes started a new company, Bulldog Skates, in the early 2000’s, once again featuring his incredible designs on skateboard decks and wheel graphics. He was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2023. Near-mint condition, maybe rolled around on for a minute, minimal surface wear. Graphics are crystal clear. Red core.
