Description: WWI Style Bavarian Observer Badge Great looking 1915-1945 period Bavarian air observer badge from a recent estate. Based on available information I believe this piece to be an old replica of a WWI era piece. The piece has all the front detail as original, silver metal over brass, old style pin. Some light blue/green patina in areas. Multiple replicas exist with varying degrees of accuracy/quality and I'd say this badge is on the better end of the spectrum. If I'm incorrect and it's an original, well...buy it. If not, message me and let me know your thoughts! What you see in the pictures is the actual piece being purchased. Badge measures ~45mm wide and ~74mm tall and depth of ~7mm front to back of pin hinge. Weight estimated at 40G. Very good used condition, no visible defects and clasp works as expected.
