Description: Batman #297 (1978) Vintage "The Mad Hatter Goes Straight" The Mad Hatter, disappointed that crime isn't giving him a kick anymore, reminisces about his youth when he would fantasize about being a white-hatted sheriff or a plume-hatted cavalier, or wearing the hat of a Foreign Legionnaire. Since his fantasies were always about fighting on the side of law and order, the Hatter decides to give up crime and go straight. On his first caper, Hatter begins by mimicking a cowboy-hatted sheriff on horseback, and stops two muggers from robbing Bruce Wayne and his date in the park. He then decides to just rob the woman himself as long as he's there. Thousands of key comics and vintage comic books from the silver to modern eras and everything in between. Comics come newly bagged and boarded and are shipped in industry standard protective mailers. If you want multiple comic books bundled into a single lot, please send a message listing the issues you want and we'll create a reserve lot for you. And be sure to let us know if you are looking for a particular book not listed. We are always posting new inventory, including CGC Graded comics.
