Description: This set of four dinner plates by Barratts of Staffordshire features a classic blue and white "Old English" pattern. The round plates measure 10 inches in diameter and are perfect for any occasion. They were manufactured in the 1950s and are a vintage original. The plates are made of porcelain/china and have a glossy finish. They are decorated with a mill theme and are perfect for tableware use. The set includes dinner plates and is unboxed. The plates are hand wash only and have a painted backstamp. This production style is blue and white pottery. The plates are not sure of the style or era, but they are a great addition to any collection. I’ll four plates I believe had the decorative hangers at one time so they could be hung up. Hence the little spots on the back of each plate. When these hangers were removed I’m guessing it cracked two plates. The cracks are not two bad as seen in the photos and they can be displayed. The plates could also be broken up for art projects as well. I’m happy to take more photos if requested.
