Description: Gorgeous c.1880-1910 Oil on Canvas Painting Disputed Ground Roosters in a Barnyard Stretcher Size 10" x 8" / Framed Size 14½" x 12½" [ FEATURES & DETAILS... ] This is a fine original oil-on-canvas painting with bright colors. It is unsigned--which was quite common in the mid-to-late 19th century. On the back, in pencil, is the title of the painting. It is difficult to read with age, but after applying some photo-enhancement (as pictured), it appears to be "Disputed Ground." [ CONDITION... ] - Beautiful antique condition, from a non-smoking environment - No issues with the painting other than typical light cracquelure.- The frame is in excellent shape, considering it is from the composition/plaster frame-making period. There is a professionally done touch-up on the side of the top right-hand corner, as pointed out in the final photograph. This is noticeable on close examination.The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind that vintage/antique items always show their age. (Don't we all!?)
