Description: Barbie Mod Clone Homemade Wedding Gowns ***PLEASE READ***Please read complete description and view all photos before making a buying decision! Most questions can be answered and confusion avoided by doing this!I often use dolls, costumes, props, etc. in the photos for marketing purposes. I always state if these items are not a part of the lot being sold, or if the items are for sale in another lot. My apologies to potential international bidders, but for various reasons, I only sell and ship to bidders in the continental U.S. Beautiful lot of three clone/homemade wedding ensembles. Two are mod-era, one possibly vintage era. The mod ensembles are on mod-era dolls, the vintage on a vintage black bubblecut Barbie. Please view the photos in zoom mode as they are part of the description. For display, I have used a Mod Hair Ken in a Get Ups N Go groom ensemble and a Malibu Ken in "The Night Scene" tux. The dolls and the Ken doll ensembles aren't part of the lot. Ensemble 1Gown of beautiful satin-like fabric with a white paisley pattern with long, mutton-chop sleeves and a cowl neckline. The back features a short, split train of white twill. The veil features a white satin pillbox cap, a style that was popular in the late sixties/early seventies. This dress has a "made in Hong Kong" tag--not sure of the manufacturer, but it has solid snaps which are distinctive. The two back snaps are not secure and will not fasten. There is also a split seam in the right sleeve (see photo). I've included a pair of Mego "round toe" pilgrims, which were distinctive to that company and sold in "Maddie Mod" ensembles. The great thing about these shoes is that the molds were tooled big enough to fit Barbie's feet, since her feet were generally the biggest of all the fashions dolls. Ensemble 2Possible vintage era dress with a sleeveless fitted bodice of polished twill with a lace skirt with small train. The veil is short and doesn't have a piece of elastic or other way to hold it on, so I pinned it to the doll's hair and dress for the photos. Included are a pair of vintage O/T mules and elbow length gloves. Back snaps are functional but should be opened and closed gently. Probably a clone gown or a very detailed homemade dress. No tags. Ensemble 3Beautiful example of how nice homemade clothing can be. Made of beautiful cream-colored satin, the dress has a cowl neckline and bell sleeves. Pearl and gold braid accents the empire waist and encircles the dress's hem. The generous tulle veil also has a piece of this braid as a head piece. The dress snaps up the back; as a result, the skirt is not a solid piece (see photos). A pair of white clone pilgrims are included. Three fantastic wedding ensembles that display beautifully. While not as sought-after as vintage or mod-era Barbie ensembles, they will please fans of vintage/mod clone and homemade clothing (and I know you're out there!) These will be a great addition to your collection. NOTICEPayment expected promptly through PayPal. Life happens and circumstance can come between our intentions, so contact me if you have a true emergency and cannot pay. Please be prepared to fully honor a winning bid. No international bidders, please.
