Barbara Black "Follies" High Leg Pleated Fan Backed Briefs

Description: From Barbara, the "Follies" high leg brief in black, style 38612, with a fan shaped, pleated back. The front has a V shaped panel at the centre front with black permanently pleated sheer fabric, lined inside with black fine mesh, a black striped satin and organza ribbon bow is sewn to the top centre front. Around this is wide, sheer, black floral lace with a vertical seam at the bottom, finishing in soft waves at the leg sides with a looped eyelash finish. Another panel of this black lace covers the outside of the gusset. At each hip side the front black lace joins the edges of the back panels: the back has a black fan or goblet shape with a vertical seam down the middle so that the permanent, sheer pleats hang out diagonally, the outer edges are over sewn with black thread so that it forms soft waves which are very pretty. Another black satin and organza ribbon bow tops the vertical seam at the back of the waist band. The front and back waistband is edged inside with black elastic which has a wavy trim with a satin sheen which rises above the black brief, so there are no hard lines against the skin. The gusset is lined with black cotton. I love these briefs, they are so feminine, I am a dress and skirt wearer so I appreciate these soft pants which are lost under jeans. So nice to wear pants called "Follies", and to get away from always being just practical. The fabric is 48% Polyamide 26%Polyester 19%Cotton 7%Elastane and these briefs may be machine washed at 30 degrees, or hand washed, no iron, dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach. New and unused.
