If you are a hobby sawyer and cannot justify a $700+ setter then you will be very interested in this. I cut but not enough to buy a setter for my milling adventure. I find a good blade set is a major factor when milling with a bandsaw mill. It really is a must. So to solve this issue I have built the simple set. Gathered from tips on the net, from forums and pictures I have put this into a package for those of you that do not want to mess with making one. The work is done for you. The setter works with all brands 1 1/4 X 3/4" pitch and all brands 1 1/2"X3/4" blades. Just as long as they are 3/4" pitch you are good to go with this setter. You will wish you had one of these from the start. Fits into your bench vise. You MUST use a bench vise for it to work. Fits a 4" or 5" wide jaw bench vise perfect.
