Description: This needle will play acoustic, vertical, hill & dale, phonograph records, such as Pathe, and others. It has a round ball sapphire tip. The shank is 1.5 mm, standard Pathe diameter shank. (see my other listings if you want thin shank.) Photo shows shank in a wire size gauge measuring .059 inches (which is 1.5mm.) I guarantee these. If there is any defect I will exchange for another new one. Vintage original new old stock, made in France, and brought to the United States thirty years ago.
