Baby Dear Doll Vogue 18" Vintage 1960's Marked E. Wilkin

Description: Adorable 18" Vintage Vogue Baby Dear doll. Made in the early 1960's. She has a beautiful head of hair that has been cleaned and repeatedly conditioned until soft and shiny. Her body has been cleaned and restuffed with new kapok stuffing. Where the vinyl meets the clothe on her limbs, there are some hand stitching repairs. Some is loose looking, but her limbs are still securely attached. She has also been hand stitched on part of the seam on her back. I love when I see Mommy sewing on these vintage dolls and always leave it intact as long as it's secure. I feel that it is part of her character and her journey. It always brings a picture to mind of a mommy long ago sewing her child's cherished doll She has all of her fingers and toes, no chew marks. Her vinyl is clean with varying color tones some areas are rosier than others, but overall appearance is lovely. She is marked on the back of her left leg and her original Vogue neck tag is intact. She is wearing a new dolly diaper and a vintage undershirt under her gorgeous yellow ruffled lace dress with matching bloomers, booties and bonnet! OH! That bonnet It's sooo precious on her. Also included is a yellow clip in bow for her hair. This Baby Dear is in very nice condition for a 60+ year old childs toy. However, she is not perfect.
