Description: I designed this Polar Fleece Baby Blanket/Burp Cloth measuring 17 by 17 inches to be the perfect size for snuggling with in car seats, strollers, and naptime; also just the right size for your little one to carry around in their tiny little hands without it dragging on the floor getting all messy and germy. I designed this baby blanket with all interior seams and nothing dangling on the outer edges, so nothing exposed or scratchy and definitely nothing your little one can choke on. It has an interior flange seam as an extra decorative touch, and to allow an easier 'grip' edge for little hands. Pure soft, safe, comfort. I also designed this Baby Blanket with a Reversible Double layer to be extra colorful fun, extra soft, and extra cuddly too. This is sure to be your little one’s new favorite wubby. I prewash all my fabrics in Arm & Hammer dye free and fragrance free laundry detergent before cutting my templates to remove any dust or debris from the factory and to ensure there is no shrinkage. I machine sew my seams with a 14 stitch-per-inch setting using only Coats & Clark thread, and I hand sew the seam closure for extra durability and longevity. This fabulous thread combines advanced technology from Coats with nearly 200 years of thread-making experience. Smooth and Strong it’s polyester-wrapped core-spun construction creates a thread that provides enhanced seam appearance and makes sewing trouble free. I use a rotary blade cutter and a straight edge quilting ruler to ensure even seams and a beautiful finish. I make my designs from super soft, Anti-pill (no pill) Polar/Blizzard Fleece that is a lightweight, warm, and comfortable strong pile fabric meant to mimic and in some ways surpass wool, having some of wool's finest qualities, but weighing a fraction of the lightest available woolens. Unless otherwise noted in a listing, for my fleece product designs I use a 200 weight Anti Pill Fleece fabric that is more dense with fibers tightly twisted together. The solid color fleece is shaved shorter so there is a smoother look to the finished design, while the printed fleece fabrics are smooth but a little more plush to the touch. Also considered to be more environmentally friendly than wool as it is often made from recycled plastic bottles, it is a wonderful vegan alternative to wool. Fleece is also a great option for people who are allergic to wool, or those with skin sensitivities.
