Description: Newly assembled 'Bad Azz Custom Guitar' that has been customized by myself. Assembled using some new parts and components and some used parts. *I grew up in my fathers guitar shop in the mid 70's. My father, Lynn Ellsworth was the original owner of Boogie Bodies and has had dealings with the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Michael Anthony, Jerry Cantrell, Vince Gill and Heart as well as some other highly notable musicians. He actually manufactured the original body and neck that Eddie used to construct his first frankenstrat! Look it up on the net, it has been well documented even by Eddie himself. This is a one of a kind piece! The new, Ellsworth Custom body has been finished in transparent red on the front and antique brass on the back. Has a nice distressed look. The body is chambered and is composed of a repurposed redwood back and flame maple top. No broken backs here with this chambered redwood body! This does not feature a smooth, high gloss finish. It has been intentionally distressed (relic'd-road worn). The neck is in great condition and is composed of maple/indian laurel. Dual humbucker pickup configuration with a single volume and tone control. Has a 3 way switch which offers great versatility. Plays nice, looks sharp and sounds great with tone to spare!
